cf Doris sp. (undescribed)

Every once in a while, we stumble over a species we have never seen before. This critter is even new to Terry Gosliner, who suggests Doris as its genus. Wow.

It is entirely white in color. The most interesting anatomical feature are the pulpit shaped spiculate tubercles.

I wish we could say more about this critter, but we can't. We just need to keep our eyes open for the next specimen and record its substrate, size, depth, etc.

Good find Mike and thanks Terry.
