Chromodoris sp.

As a new feature to the Slug Site, a different nudibranch will be selected on a weekly basis for enchanced display.

Webmasters note: The undescribed species was later described and named by Gosliner and Behrens for the type locality. A shore frontage area in Batangas near a bus stop, hence the Tagalog name "hintuanensis." Although uncommon in the Batangas area, we found C. hintuanensis. to be common in the generally sandy substrate at Tulamben, Bali, Indonesia during a trip in Oct. 98.
