Dirona picta

Dirona picta, 40 mm total length, crawling over a blade of the alga Padina (in late spring and early summer Bahia de los Angeles is characterized by an incredible bloom of large, benthic algae, including this genus, Sargassum, and Colpomania ). This animal was photographed in situ, 12 feet of water, on 25 June 1998, at Punta la Gringa, BLA.
